The guest wing, comprising 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a lounge-dining room, is attached to our home via the games room, where you can enjoy a game of pool or darts. Or perhaps you'd prefer a barbecue in the outdoor living area and trying your hand at bocce?
A traditional English cooked breakfast is enjoyable in the dining room but if weather permits, why not savour it in the country style gazebo, overlooking the dry grown Grenache vineyard, always delightful in autumnal hues of red and yellow or dressed in its summer greens.
Relaxing in the gazebo, watching the grapes grow, while sipping your complimentary bottle of bubbly or local wine must be as good as it gets.

The lounge dining room has a TV video/DVD and small sound system and a mini kitchen with fridge and microwave ( tea and coffee supplied), ideal if you wish to make yourself a between-meals snack.
There is off road undercover parking for 6 cars and there you may even catch a glimpse of the kangaroos next door!
In the guest wing we also have an easy access (flat floor) bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.
Choose a complimentary bottle of bubbly or local wine from our ever-increasing guests' cellar on your arrival (conditions apply).
We are able to offer discounts at a selection of the superb local wineries and award winning restaurants with which McLaren Vale is blessed.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house or entertainment area, but a smoking area is available in the gardens.
Our B&B is not an ideal place for children to stay because it is in close proximity to a working vineyard and it has limited playing space. However, we can provide a cot and high chair on request. We have no facilities to care for guest's pets.

We are environmentally aware and endeavour to conserve water, energy & materials in as many ways as is practical. We have recently installed 1.7Kw of ZEN Technologies solar panels on our 25 degree North facing roof (nearly ideal siting) and our vineyard is dry grown - i.e. no irrigation in summer unless it rains.

The geothermal air conditioning is the most efficient we could find (a ducted system thermostatically controlled to recommended temperatures) and supplies hot water as a by product. Water heaters, lights & other electricals are turned off until shortly before guests' arrival. Most of our long term lighting is by long life mini fluorescents and garden lights are low voltage and timer controlled.

The entire roof area is directed to a 22,000L rainwater tank, which is used for washing, drinking & cooking. Toilets are all low usage dual flush, and shower heads are flow limited. All of this waste water goes to a 4 element aerobic septic system, which, after treatment, is used to water our gardens. ( Most other watering is done using dripper systems).
Most organic waste is composted, or fed to our mini worm farm and the Onkaparinga City recycling collection system is fully utilised.
